Killed em is right. Heres my thoughts about why:
LSA's captain showed she's paid the cost to be the boss. DK's captain looks like she paid the cost to be Kate Moss.
Get some leadership on the floor. Dk's don't need a coach who just stands around looking... well... just looking. They need someone out there who can make a difference. I'm sure the Kennedys have talent- and I'm sure they exhibit that talent best wearing knee pads- however, I'm concerned it has nothing to do with rollerderby. Its always good to talk some trash and get in the other teams head before a bout, but, its more important to follow through. Smackonaweiner had the right idea by writing her blog. Unfortunately for her, she got checked by Strawberrys fan club and never recovered. Choke ona Bono was pumped up for the game, yet, could only channel that energy if the other teams back was turned. Cheap shots just don't score points.
In closing, my advice for the DK's is this: Lose the Betty Ford Barbie idea. Little bimbo fu-fu has proven ineffective. Save the trash talking till you've got game. Means more if you can actually do what you say. As far as cheap shots go... be prepared to finish what you started.
The Lone Star ASSASSES couldn't take what they dished out! They cried to the refs any chance they got. As for the shots to the back Skank Tank could only stop Choko Ono by pulling down her shorts. Try skating faster honey...that might work.

We are a new team! Meaning we are playing our freshmeat. The LSA have no freshmeat playing at all they have all played with each other for like a year. Give the DK's a little time to get familiar with each other's style. We'll be kicking ass and taking names later. Since you have soooo much to say about our strategy why don't you get your buns out there and play? It's much easier to talk shit when you're sitting on the side lines drinking a beer and not out there busting your ass.
I know it's all in fun. Whomever anonymous is thanks for taking up for the DKs! We love our fans even the ones for Strawberry Deathcake! :)
I would play. I really would. I can meet all of the requirements except the one about having a vagina. LOL! It really is just in fun. Sorry to all those I may have offended. Hopefully, my smartass comments push some of you to play that much better. And if anyone can't laugh at it or make something positive out of it... then blow me.

From the view I had seem like Puncho Villa, (I think I have her name right) deserve that fight from the dirty play I saw.
I saw the LSA's push from behind plenty of times and also trying to trip people. Your team plays dirty and I don't think they really care if people get seriously hurt.
Good God. Lets just squash this blog for now. I think we all agree that physically sneaking someone is always poor form. As quasi-..demi-.. celebrity-ish figures, I feel like you all need to be prepared for comments, good and bad, from the public. Especially if you give them access to an open forum such as this one. However, I am a big enough person to say that I'm sorry to Muff. I do know her history and never meant my comments to be taken so seriously. So, sorry Muff.

I want to say I am not usually a dirty player. My first jam showed me how the LSA's wanted to play. Down n'Dirty! When Puncho took me down the first time I didn't fight back. She was on my ass the whole night and f***ing with me. I am not a mean or vindictive person but don't think you can push me around without getting pushed back. I'll admit the push from behind was a cheap shot and I shouldn't have done that. Let's be honest though....we all had our cheap shots. We are all kick ass women and tempers flare. I have no grudges and I respect you Puncho and every other woman in this league. That's all I have to say so let's sqaush it and get on with life.
OK. I know I said I didn't have a vagina and all... but, after sharing this moment with you guys... I think I started my period. And if you do figure out who I am... don't hit me... in front of people.

I had a birds eye view of this, and although I agree, it is a very dangerous thing to do, I'm not sure it deserves an apology. Puncho hit Choko after she came off the track, Puncho turned her back - big mistake, and Choko reacted. With more experience Choko may think twice before she reacts that way, but let’s not forget the basic schoolyard lesson; if you start shit, don't turn your back.
Maybe a dual apology is in order? Maybe a race? Maybe Nashville can try to outskate Choko instead of pulling her down from behind?
Back and to the Left I must say you are very smart. Strawberry Deathcake fan club you are funny dude. When we find out who you are we're gonna spank you!

I had the joy to watch your last bout and I say that Puncho Villa should not start the fire if she can not handle the heat. If you start a fight do not expect the next person to back down cause you thought it was over when you turn your back. You hit illegal and get hit back illegal. Like Back to Left said. Rules of the school yard.
It doesn't matter who started it children... you don't hit people when they're not looking. You shouldn't start a fight that way and you shouldn't retaliate that way. Both were wrong. I don't give a damn what low and to the left says. it is time to grow up and face the fact that this is not a school yard tussle- its adult rollerderby. Cheap shots are weak in every instance and can be dangerous. At least let a bitch see you knock her out. No one will debate if it was right or wrong- in fact- I bet no one argues with you at all for a while....
DC dont get me wrong, Im not playing the blame game here, both parties made mistakes and everyone is lucky that no one was injured.
