Well I don't know anything about all that, but let’s focus on the next bout.
This is going to be another good one. Considering this will be the match up for the rest of the season right? (LaRev vs. LSA) I'm hoping for some more fighting and a close score!

The main reason our team the Deadly Kennedys didn't fight was b/c we were focused on winning. When we get into fights we get put into penalty and then our team has to skate short one person or two. I felt the game was too close to jeoporadize our victory. I think LaRev felt the same way. The last game with the LSAs was crazy there were some major scuffles so I can understand the disapointment. I think we were really pissed. But fighting is what the fans love so next time we will deliver. FA SHO!

BTW - I heard on the radio last night that the OTHER league in Dallas has claimed the title "The largest flat track derby in Texas" - can you believe that shit? I guess that’s all they can claim. Let’s see how that helps them in Austin; I bet it doesn't, not by a long shot.

The Sportatorium was the first place I ever peed in a trough.
If you ever miss pissing in a trough, Taylor, there is still the Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite. Every Saturday night you can pull up to the trough between heat races and do some racing of your own with as many friends as you can line up at the 50 foot trough. Ahhhhh, good times!!!!
And Mr. PerroCaliente-n-Frijoles, I sometimes piss myself while driving by where the Sportatoriun once was because of the overwhelming emotion that rushes through me thinking about all the times I pissed myself while wathcing King Kong Bundy whoop the Von Ericks ass.
My personal opinion about the upcoming bout: The LSA's will win because they are an average team and unfortunately, that's all it will take to win in this league because from what I've seen, some of the girls on the LSA's and most of the girls on other teams lack the heart and dedication it takes to be true champions in a serious contact sport like women's flat track roller derby. Just my opinion, don't mean to hurt anyones feelings, but this ain't rec. league co-ed softball.

Hey Texan, La Revs will get their points they need to advance to the championship. Then with a little more training of their new girls and conditioning of the veterans, they should be able to beat the LSA in October.

Well I must say all that trash talk about the La Revs and they made you eat them damn words and the Lone Star had to earn those points bruised and all. I must say the La Revs was not playing with you all at all last night and they rightful earn their spot in the championship. The more I see the La Revs play the harder the blocks get and the meanier they play so keep up the good work La Revs and keep showing how much a better team you are. Anyway, you see the lesson Nashville learned La Revs is no punk and she got the NLF football tackle. My money was well spent last night. I saw the EMT over there for Nashville. Is it alright?
Also Strawberry Deathcake speaking of cheating what was up with the score after the first period. It was not correct as usual. The conspiracy I tend to notice. I was going to let the cheating thing side but you did cheat my girls out of some points last night. One on your team mates was called out for a foul and refused to leave the track. Ummm who would that have been? Ophelia Pain!
Derby Report Card-
Sorry to disappoint you but I didn't actually cheat "your girls" out of any points. Yes, Ricochet tried to call me off and I refused. This is because I knew exactly what he was trying to call me on and it was a mistake. In being head of training, I work closely with the refs on the rules, so I don't think I offended him in any way. He came over right after the jam and we cleared things up.
***refs had the right to take away my points IF I was wrong**
He thought that if I stepped off the track as a jammer that it was a major foul. The only penalty a jammer receives for stepping off the track to go around someone is that she forfiets her right to being lead jammer. (or doesn't score a point for that person she passes if it is on her second pass thru)
If that had been an actual rule "your girls" would have been in the penalty box all night. Terror Pussy and Kernal Angus couldn't pass on the track to save their lives last night. **love you girls**
Roller derby is a new sport not just to the fans but to the skaters and refs too. Everyone is doing their best out there. The sport is fast and there will be some missed penalty calls and some confusion from time to time, too.... but hey it's Roller Derby!!!!
As I read through the program and review over the penalties page all I see is referees making the call and not Ophelia Pain. It clearly states insubordination to the referees is a penalty. As well as the 20feet rule your players seem not to follow. On a better note, Good game one of the best I have seen so far. I was proud to have spent my $12 bucks at the door for this game. Also I do like a few of your girls Puncho Villa, Betty Boom, Eva Riot, Mia Hammer, Waylon Anya and Wendy O. Wheels.

Well I am not in your league I am just fan and I have no issues with the referees. You can't see everything but this paly this referee was in her face. I am just a fan calling what I see and it was the players and not the referees. You did your job.
You know it is funny you still haven't figured who I am yet. I walked to the score board table and gave my thoughts. So they can verify I am not one of your players. I would mind meeting some of them I have named for drinks. So speak what you know Strawberry Deathcake!

The championship bout will be kinda dull since we all already been there done that, I say make it something worth watching La Rev's vs. DK's.

You ladies did a great job on Sunday. I liked all the fighting and the fact that the refs let you keep jammin' even with the fights still going on. That was awesome and made the game even more exciting. Ms. Cake, you rule! Nice tackle by Buck You. Jet, what can I say besides you're a little Bad-Ass! Can't wait till Oct. 22. There will be blood spilled for sure.
Beans...I think I've got this one. I think what BoysenberrySmushmuffin means is: Any time someone breaks the rules, they are cheating. Therefore when the Dallas Cowboys are offsides and get a 5 yard penalty, what they are really doing is "cheating". And if it weren't for all those "cheaters" playing in the NBA, there would be no need for free-throws. And they should rename the "penalty box" in hockey, "the cheater box" and roller derby could rename the jail-cells, "cheater-cells". Hahaha I must of had nightmares about bears..What I'm talking about specifically are the girls who "show off" and are obviously there for self promotion over team/league promotion. The oh look at me I can crash into BEER can towers over and over again was being made fun of by derby fans, complete with eye rolling and giggles. It's just not about that for people who are really fans of the actual sport and aren't interested in watching girls gone wild for attention garbage

Derby Report Card Review may I ask what you have against the DKs?
When the doors open at What's Hot on Oct. 22, the LaRevs will be more ready to take a beating than they have been all season. They have been practicing losing all season and have gotten pretty good at it. Keep doin' what you do best.

I used to pull the heads off my GI Joe and squirt ketchup all over him and pretend it was being shot by a snipers bullet. Now, when I see La Revolucion dressed in their camo bouting the LSA, I think of GI Joe and Spider Man with GI Joe's gun, (mainly because they didn't make any good assassin toys when I was a child) getting ready to snipe his head off. Man, I tell ya, roller derby brings back some fond childhood memories. *takes meds*

Well Choko I have nothing against the Dk's and I spoken to a few of you at the last game when I approached the scoreboard table about the score. La Revs happen to be my favorite team. This league from reading all the myspace and blogs seem to down that team and they are the most well rounded people I have ever met and extremely friendly unlike a few of you others on other teams. They play the game and keep striding reguardless of the remarks, that I tend to read on the board that is extremely un kind to each other or ex players. I see a line of respect constantly cross and the funny part about it is the La Revs for the most part do not respond and keep kicking. A fan like me like that type of sportsmanship. I can not see how can you play with each other in a league together and be rude to each other. Whether it is all for show or not it is still disrespectful. I just call plays when I see them Choko and call out cheating and score boards flaws (the constant mystery I tend to see).
Mr. Card, Scoreboard flaws? As a fan of many sports, I myself sometimes find it almost impossible to know all of the rules. But I have learned that in roller derby, if you cut the track, step out while passing or commit a foul while passing as a jammer, (or as you call it, CHEATING) you get no points. Mr. Card, I suggest that you read the rules at wftda.com so you can be better informed of rules and procedures before the start of next season. That is, if you're still a fan. Because it sounds to me like you aren't having much fun at these bouts. Maybe the LaRevs could share their Kleenex that Captain Underpants is collecting for them.
Up your nose again I stated flaws and if you can not be an adult than do not respond cause I do not play with grown children. I know the rules so far and hold a legimate conversation on what I see. So your guildance to links were not needed. I know Hydra and Ivanna so be careful of who you play with.
Since you are taking the conversation there, I never talked about anyone cutting the track or not enjoying the game. My comment and review talked about one play and the love for my team that I like to watch so reading for dummies is a recommend book for you! I am down for the La Rev's reguardless of the outcome because I am a true FAN! I do not like being attack on what my personal opionions are and if you can not be civil and talk to me about them then simple do not direct a comment to me.
Next season....I will still be a fan of La Rev's and certain indivduals.

Mr. Card, like you, I call it like I see it. I thought that you of all people would be able to appreciate that. The LaRevs, mainly Terror Pussie, were cutting the track all night long. But I can see that just like the LaRevs, you talk alot but have nothing to say.
Reading for dummies? For you I would recommend a high school grammar and composition class. Or at least get a dictionary. Does your computer have spell check?
Even a legitimate argument will lose it effectiveness when it is filled with spelling errors and run-on senteces that do not make sense.
